Do I need GS1 barcodes for Flipkart or Meesho?

Marketplaces usually let you list with your own SKU. Some categories or brands ask for a GTIN (EAN/UPC); those numbers come from GS1 India.

What is the EAN check digit?

The last digit of an EAN-13, worked out from the first 12. Type 12 digits and the generator adds it for you.
