Product image compliance checker

Drop in your product photos and see at once which ones are too small, not square, blurry, too heavy or not on a white background, before a marketplace rejects them.

Checks common marketplace guidelines (big enough to zoom, square, plain white main image, sharp). Each marketplace's own rules are final.

How to use the product image checker

  1. Drop or choose your photos. Nothing leaves your device.
  2. Each photo gets a pass, a warning or a fail for size, shape, background, sharpness and file size.
  3. Fix the failing ones, or use the low shipping image generator to square them on white.

Questions sellers ask

What size should product images be?

At least 1000 pixels on the longer side is the usual advice, so buyers can zoom. Square images display best on Flipkart, Meesho and Amazon.

Why does the main image need a white background?

Marketplaces ask for a plain white main image so products look consistent in search. Lifestyle photos are fine as extra images.

How do you check sharpness?

The checker measures how much the edges in the photo change (variance of the Laplacian). Very low values usually mean a blurry or out-of-focus photo.
