How to use the volumetric weight calculator

  1. Measure the packed box: length, breadth and height.
  2. Weigh it with the packing.
  3. Use the divisor your courier or marketplace states (5000 is the usual one).

How it's worked out

Volumetric weight (kg) = length × breadth × height (cm) ÷ 5000. Chargeable weight = the higher of volumetric and actual weight, usually rounded up to the next 0.5 kg.
